Gilderoy Lockhart arrives at Hogwarts in the second part of the saga, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. He replaces Professor Quirrell in the post of defence against the Forces of Evil.
Gilderoy Lockhart is quite a character! Narcissistic and full of himself, he never misses an opportunity to highlight his adventures, each more dangerous than the last.
At the start of the film, he signs his book at the Diagon Alley bookshop, much to the delight of the ladies!
But in the end, this brave professor may not be as brave as he pretends...
