Aragog is a male acromantula with glassy eyes and grey hair on his back and legs, capable of talking like a human. This huge spider was brought to Hogwarts by Hagrid while he was still a student at the school. Hiding in a school dungeon by Hagrid, Aragog is endangered by Tom Jedusor who accuses accused Hagrid of opening the Chamber of Secrets and tried to catch the acromantula to frame him.
Thanks to Hagrid, Aragog manages to escape to the Forbidden Forest. Considered the monster of the Chamber of Secrets, Aragog remains in the forest. Later, Hagrid brings company: a female acromantula named Mosag, with whom he starts a family.
Harry and Ron meet him in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
The acromantula, out of respect for Hagrid, has never touched a human, but he offers the two boys as meals to his daughters sons. The two young wizards manage to escape
barely. Aragog appears again in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'. Deathly Hallows'.
Aragog died in the spring of 1993 from an illness. Upon his death, the rest of his family family becomes violent and, driven out of the Forbidden Forest by Voldemort, attacks Hogwarts during the Battle, attacking Death Eaters and students alike.
This figure is part of the Harry Potter magical creatures collection and is number 16.
The figurine fits onto its stand to stabilise it, and is presented in a transparent box to show it off.
