Lucius Malfoy is one of Lord Voldemort's Death Eaters. He comes from a very aristocratic pure-blood family and considers Muggles and Muggle-borns to be inferior. He is Narcissa's husband and Draco's father. He was also Dobby's master before inadvertently releasing him. He led the Death Eaters in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries. He was defeated by Remus Lupin and sent to Azkaban. He was released a year later; his family was now in disgrace. During the Battle of Hogwarts, he did not fight and looked for his son. After Lord Voldemort's defeat, Lucius Malfoy, having repented by not serving the powerful dark wizard in any way, resumed his normal life and became a grandfather a few years later.
