Sirius Black is a pure-blooded wizard. While studying at Hogwarts, he met James Potter, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrow who later became his best friends. In support of his friend Lupin, during his 5th year and after 3 years of effort, he chose to become an Animagus and took the form of a black dog. With his three companions, they form the Marauders group and later create the Marauder's Map. Sirius, who is very close to James and Lily, will be their best man at their wedding and Harry Potter's godfather.
He was wrongly imprisoned in Azkaban Prison for the murder of James and Lily Potter. He was the first to escape, and was finally reunited with Harry.
The wand is black and decorated with runes.
