In this transformation, Naruto's hair becomes more spiky, standing with strands on either side of his head appearing like fox ears. His whiskers become thick, the top ones on each side curling under his eyes. The pigments around his eyes turn black and stretch towards his fox ears and he takes on the red eyes of Kurama. The colouring of his clothes turns orange and the front of his cloak on his chest takes the form of a black swirl surrounded by six lines. From the back of his cloak appear four orange chakra tails and five more at the end of the cloak. Each tail has a black line in the centre that connects to the middle of the cape like a swirl.
